Nestled between la Baie de la Fresnaye and Arguenon Bay, The Saint-Cast-le-Guildo peninsula is renowned for its shellfish farming. The 4 Vaulx campsite, opposite the beach of the same name, is a favourite spot for your fishing trips. The 300-metre-long beach offers a lovely view of Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer and the Ile des Ebihens.

Dinan Cap Fréhel Tourist Office offers a guided tour of the mussel and oyster beds. Visit a shellfish farm to find out about all the stages in the life of shellfish, then end the tour with a visit to the oyster tasting.

Introduction to fishing on foot!
In Brittany, and more particularly in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, anglers on foot are well catered for! Knives, clams, hulls... the seashore is home to many different species of shellfish, which we love to find on the foreshore at low tide.
