Here, life is good between the seaside and its long sandy beaches, the lively city center and the quiet and relaxing back of the city. With family or friends, everyone will be able to find what they are looking for during their stay as the diversity of landscapes, activities and reliefs is great. Sometimes a hike along the Emerald Coast, sometimes an afternoon of rest on the 4 Vaulx beach a few meters away from the campground, or a shopping session in the small castines boutiques. The Bay Point
For a unique view of the bouchots, the bay of Arguenon or even Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer the peninsula located just in front of Saint-Cast, take the GR34 to the tip of the Bay. From the top of the cliff, you can admire the landscape and its breathtaking view. If you like the emerald color of the water, then extend your walk to the beach to take a dip! A large free parking lot is located nearby. Many motorhome owners have chosen to live there, as the view is so splendid!
Discovering the Château du Guildo
When you arrive in Saint-Cast from Saint-Malo, on your right you will see a monument that seems to have stopped in time. The The Guildo castle and its old stones face the Arguenon, the river that flows into the English Channel. Today, titled at the Historical Monumentsyou can freely access the castle, walk around the its ramparts partly destroyed, climb to the top of the tower (from where you may have the chance to see the seals that come to rest on the bay from time to time) and discover the rich history of this medieval Breton castle. Some explanatory plaques of its past can be found on the premises to complete the visit.
The Festival of Brittany – the unmissable spring event
Every year, the Côtes d’Armor celebrates the region in springtime during the The festival of Brittany! In several big cities and during several days, animations, festivities, tournaments are proposed, opened to all. Each year, the event attracts many visitors who come especially for the festival! Last year, Saint-Cast-le-Guildo and our campsites welcomed hundreds of tourists. It is often the occasion to try the traditional game of Breton shuffleboard or to taste a good cake!
For its 15th edition, the Fête de la Bretagne will take place from May 12 to 21, 2023!
